Charley and I flew home today. It was Charley's first (and second) flights and she did so so good. This was the second flight, which she slept through.
There was a fake grassy area at an attraction we visited today so I put Charley down to let her crawl around on it. But, she didn't move an inch. She's like, Mama, what in the world is this stuff!?
I needed something to put Charley in when we were hanging out underneath the beach house (it's on stilts). The underneath is all concrete which isn't conducive to crawling. I decided to look on the local Craigslist to find a walker for her to use. Needless to say she was loving her independence!
My dad was holding Charley out on the deck and was letting her look inside the window at me. This is what she did totally unprompted. So glad my camera was within reaching distance! So funny!
On our first day on family vacation, my sisters and I surprised my parents with a cake to celebrate their retirement. (Moma should be Mama, but you get the point!)
Dinner is so much more fun with Charley eating more and more of what we are eating. We had sloppy joes tonight, and she had hamburger meat (before it got all saucy and sloppy) and peas. Also, Tuna likes to pretend he eats people food too.
I was actually taking pictures of John tickling Charley and throwing her up in the air, and this was just a happy accidental shot that I got amidst all of the laughs and giggles.
She started pulling up on everything yesterday and today, and this was one of the first times she was standing up in her crib after her nap. She was so darn proud of herself!
I was trying to take pictures of Charley's nursery today for a blog post I'm doing soon, and someone photo bombed almost every single picture I took. She's a cute photo bomber, though!
I got Charley a baby doll stroller that was just her size at yard sales yesterday morning. She needs a little assitance standing behind it still, but she loves it! Not bad for $3!
