Don't bother giving her a bowl of Cheerios. They will inevitably end up on the floor around her. I should just start pouring the Cheerios directly onto the floor.

I stayed home today with a cold, and Charley has a cold and now ear infections too. We look pretty happy for a couple of sickies, though!

Bird mobile business is still going strong. I spent the entire evening (after Charley went to sleep) working with 6 different customers on their bird mobiles. This is part of our fabric stash...it's crazy how much we have and how fast we go through it. Also, we cannot wait to have a designated craft space in our new house so we don't have to use our couch and kitchen table for this!

Went to the farmer's market today to pick up some fruits and veggies. That blur towards the bottom of the picture would be my child's wailing arm. She was a little excited with our excursion.

We did finish the Dada pictures from yesterday, but this picture was taken right after Charley had had enough of holding letters. I gave her a toy, she was happy again, and I kept taking pictures. I love love love her eyes!

In true procrastination form, I started working on John's Father's Day gift this evening. I bought the letters "D" and "A" from a craft store and took pictures of Charley holding them so we can put the pictures in a 4-opening collage frame spelling Dada.

Only, she wasn't very cooperative tonight and this was actually the best shot we got. We'll have to try again tomorrow!

John was upstairs giving Charley a bath tonight when I heard lots of Charley giggles. I had to go see what all the fun was about, with my camera in hand of course. Charley loves to chew on these bathtime letters and numbers, and thought it was hilarious when she'd share with Daddy and he'd bite them too.

Went to a local festival in uptown Charlotte today called Taste of Charlotte. On our way back to the car, we passed a mural that we had engagement pictures taken in front of only 3 years earlier so we had to take an updated picture with our updated family.

Spent some time out at our property today measuring out a driveway and such. Well, that's what John did. I ran around with my camera taking pictures of dirt and sticks and occasionally, people I love.
