Charley and I met up with some friends at the zoo today! I was a slacker on the picture-taking, but I did get this one taken of Charley and I in front of the monkeys. I was the only one cooperating, apparently.
Tonight Charley found a long, lost pacifier at the bottom of her toy basket. She took a pacifier for about one day total and never wanted anything to do with one since then. But, she had fun playing with it tonight!
Spring is here again which means I spend some time outside tending to my flowers each afternoon. This year I have a little helper too who seems to enjoy it!
We're in the very early stages of building a house which includes clearing the property. We visited the land tonight to see how it was going. Here we are sitting in our living room.
I was having trouble fitting a book or two into our bedtime routine, so instead for now Charley gets read two books each afternoon when we get home. She loves to be read to!
John and I went to our good friend Daniel's wedding this evening! It was a beautiful outdoor wedding, which I would have thouroughly enjoyed had I not developed crazy allergies TODAY. Just my luck! My eyes watered the entire ceremony and I'm sure the rest of the wedding guests thought I was the most emotional wedding guest ever!
We climbed the Ponce de Leon Lighthouse today. Well, I climbed it and Charley rode in her Beco Gemini carrier. I don't know why she was so tired...I was the one carrying her!
While I've tried putting Charley's feet in the water each night and all I've been met with are tears and cries, I tried again this evening. It looks like she likes it!
Charley had her first taste of sand today & she liked it; both sitting in it and eating it. I also got the pleasure of my first time bathing a sandy baby. Sand seems to get in every crevice, just so you know.
