Recently a comment was made that adults that don't like vegetables need to grow up and eat them anyways because they are good for you and to quit acting/eating like a 4 year old. Obviously since I held onto the comment it slightly offended me.

And how could someone say something like that when I have sophisticated things like this for dinner: 2 grilled cheese sandwiches. I believe my palate is way more sophisticated than that of a 4 year old, thankyouverymuch.

John had to work all day at work, and then work some more once he got home. At least he can work from home though or I wouldn't see him this week! Plus, at home he has the benefit of his secretary, Reese.

Charley does really good with puffs, so it's time to start letting her try other things. I am a lover of all things breakfasty, so I was super excited to share my love of pancakes with her this morning. She doesn't get any syrup yet, but she was so excited she didn't even need any of it!

Today we went out to the lake to visit one of our best friends on his parent's boat for a little Memorial Day cookout. It'd been a few years since we'd been there so it was really good to see them, and to introduce them to our little Charley.

Charley had a playdate with a friend of mine's daughter today, Ella. After meeting this sweet, cutie pie, I've decided I'm ready for Charley to have some hair now. I got my wish for a bald baby and now I'm allowing her to start growing some hair so she can have pretty locks like little Ella. Any day now will be fine, Charley!

Charley rode in the cart like a big kid for the first time today with her Aunt Christy, and so then I had to take her grocery shopping this evening and try it out too. She absolutely loved it!

Remember our little eggs in the nest in our backyard? Well one of them has now hatched and it's adorable to watch him squawk for his mama while waiting for food. The other 4 baby birds are still incubating in their eggs.
