In true procrastination form, I started working on John's Father's Day gift this evening. I bought the letters "D" and "A" from a craft store and took pictures of Charley holding them so we can put the pictures in a 4-opening collage frame spelling Dada.

Only, she wasn't very cooperative tonight and this was actually the best shot we got. We'll have to try again tomorrow!

John was upstairs giving Charley a bath tonight when I heard lots of Charley giggles. I had to go see what all the fun was about, with my camera in hand of course. Charley loves to chew on these bathtime letters and numbers, and thought it was hilarious when she'd share with Daddy and he'd bite them too.

We celebrated my brother's birthday tonight at my parent's house. Charley crawled over to him and made herself at home in his lap.

We're now down to one nursing session a day, & that's in the mornings. She now wants a bottle before bed, and I give the girl with red, sleepy eyes what she wants!

Went to a local festival in uptown Charlotte today called Taste of Charlotte. On our way back to the car, we passed a mural that we had engagement pictures taken in front of only 3 years earlier so we had to take an updated picture with our updated family.

Spent some time out at our property today measuring out a driveway and such. Well, that's what John did. I ran around with my camera taking pictures of dirt and sticks and occasionally, people I love.

After taking Charley's 9 month pictures tonight (3 days late), we hung out in her room playing for a while. I loved this of John and Charley! Don't know what they were talking about, but I'm sure it was good!

Best CVS trip to date...it's so thrilling. I got all of this for $8.22 tonight, plus $22 to spend on my next trip. Retail value of everything is $67.59. So, so fun.

Charley fought naps today at home, so we headed over to my parent's house and my dad has the magic baby touch that always can put a baby right to sleep. They love each other. <3

Charley's big girl car seats came in the mail today. The box made for a pretty good seat, too.
