Today I worked from 8 until 3. Raced to pick up my baby and got back home at 4:15. Threw all of our stuff in our car and drove over to my sister's house where Charley and I picked up 3 more passengers and all of their luggage - my sister and 2 nieces. Then drove 8 hours to Florida, stopping a couple times to feed little tummies. By the time I was finally laying in bed and realized I hadn't snapped a picture it was technically March 31, but since I hadn't gone to bed yet I'm counting it. I rolled over, said to my niece, "Lori, smile!" and took this picture. Then rolled back over and fell fast asleep.

Another day that I was sure I forgot to take a picture. But no, saved by the iPhone once again. My BFF Amy and I tried a new place for lunch today. And since it was part of #10 on my 101 in 1001 list, I took a picture of the sign as we were leaving.

Lunch was delish and the company was even better!

We went to my niece's 8th birthday party tonight, and I got a quick picture of Charley with her cousins. Her cousins Wyatt and Seth weren't able to make it, so this is Lori, Vince, Lindsay & Charley.

I was just panicking because I thought I forgot to take a picture yesterday (as I'm posting this one day late) and then checked my phone pictures and found this loveliness from yesterday. Thank goodness for phone pictures!

Tonight I had to make double dinners, one for us and one for a friend that just had a baby, and Charley was not cooperating. She was over-tired and just fussy, so John took her outside to distract her from her mommy clinginess. They sat in the grass on a hill outside our little fence and played. I thought it was so precious.

I had so many pictures from today it was hard to choose which one to share. John and I babysat our nieces tonight, and made a trip over to Park Gamma and Grandaddy to play on the tire swing. &, I did wear green even though these 3 party poopers did not!

More warm weather. More firsts. Today we stopped by Gamma & Grandaddy Park (i.e. their backyard) for Charley's first time ever swinging (by herself). She LOVED it even though we had to stuff a towel around her to keep her little body secure!

We went outside to take a few pictures today, and as I was adjusting my camera settings John set Charley on this bike planter we have in our backyard just being silly. (There will actually be plants in it when we plant our spring flowers.) I happened to catch this face she was giving John like "Dad, please let go. I can handle this on my own."

I met up with some ladies I "met" online today. We all had babies in September and lived within the same general area of the U.S., so we decided to meet in person and let our babies play together. We had such a good time we are planning on meeting up again!

Over the weekend, I noticed Charley pulling on her ears and made sure to ask the doctor about it on her appointment Monday. She had no infection, so then I thought she had maybe just realized they were there. Today though, my sister found Charley's first tooth had broken through her gums, and I read that pulling on ears is a symptom of teething. That explains it! She was never fussy or anything!

John and I had date night tonight with each other, and a certain 6 month old baby. We went out to eat and went to Target. Oh how times have changed. But also we picked up a movie (The Rum Diaries) on the way home.

Funny story though...(I'm uploading this 2 days later, just FYI) we were too tired to start a movie at 9:00 that night, so decided we'd watch it the next day and return in before 9:00 p.m. But after 9:00 rolled around, we were too tired that night too, so we ended up paying an extra night's rental and never even watched it. Oh well!
